A delightful dish featuring tender chicken simmered in a rich, buttery sauce infused with garlic, honey, and spices, all in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper or hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes and kalamata olives

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place the chicken in the skillet, cooking until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, honey, and heavy cream. Bring it to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the caramelized onions and cherry tomatoes. Allow everything to cook for about 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  6. Sprinkle in the shredded cheese (if using) and cayenne pepper or hot sauce. Stir to combine.
  7. Garnish with dried parsley before serving.
