Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Taco shells
  • Toppings: lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, and more

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour the chicken broth and salsa over the top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken with two forks in the slow cooker.
  6. Serve in taco shells and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to three months.
