One-Skillet Cheesy Ground Chicken Pasta

A quick and easy weeknight comfort dish featuring tender pasta, ground chicken, and creamy cheese, all cooked in one skillet.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of Pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 pound of Ground Chicken
  • 2 cups of Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup of Milk
  • 1 cup of Shredded Cheese (cheddar and mozzarella mix)
  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  2. Toss in minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken, breaking it up, and cook until no longer pink. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions (about 10-12 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  6. Once pasta is cooked, stir in milk.
  7. Mix in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added nutrition, you can throw in leftover vegetables or serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
