Description

Transform simple chicken breasts into flavorful, tender shreds with this easy Instant Pot recipe, perfect for tacos, burrito bowls, or salads.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: taco seasoning, shredded cheese, avocado, cilantro


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the Instant Pot.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
  4. Cook on manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. Once done, allow for a natural release for 5 minutes, then switch to quick release.
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back into the juices.

Notes

Experiment with different spices or use vegetable broth for a lighter version. For enhanced flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper or lime juice.
