Description
Succulent chicken thighs coated in a luscious honey garlic glaze that’s sticky, sweet, and utterly satisfying, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and reduce the heat to medium. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, basting with the glaze until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
- Once done, serve the dish hot, ideally over a bed of rice with a side of your favorite vegetables.
Notes
For best results, use bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs; consider marinating the chicken for 30 minutes to deepen the flavors.
