Transform humble chicken into sticky, tangy, and slightly boozy bourbon wings with this easy crockpot recipe.

  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken wings into the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together bourbon, BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the wings, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, give the wings a good toss in the sauce and serve.

Notes

For crispy skin, broil wings for a few minutes after cooking. Let wings marinate for at least an hour for enhanced flavor.
