Description

A quick and flavorful chicken dinner recipe that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or basil)
  • Optional veggies (bell peppers or asparagus)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts once hot.
  4. Sear them for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. If adding veggies, toss them in during the last few minutes of cooking.
  6. Transfer to a plate and let it rest before slicing.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken ahead of time and ensure the skillet is hot for a perfect sear.
