Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef, cut into chunks
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 4 cups beef broth or wine
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp thyme
- 2 bay leaves
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients: Chop vegetables and cut your protein into manageable pieces.
- Brown your protein: Heat your Dutch oven and cook the beef until it’s nicely browned.
- Sauté the vegetables: Add chopped onions and garlic, followed by other veggies. Cook until slightly softened.
- Combine and simmer: Return the beef to the pot, add broth or wine, herbs, and seasoning. Stir well.
- Cook: Cover and simmer for an hour or until everything is tender.
