Description

A rich and flavorful beef stew perfect for cozy family dinners, made easy in a Dutch oven.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef, cut into chunks
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 4 cups beef broth or wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 2 bay leaves


Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients: Chop vegetables and cut your protein into manageable pieces.
  2. Brown your protein: Heat your Dutch oven and cook the beef until it’s nicely browned.
  3. Sauté the vegetables: Add chopped onions and garlic, followed by other veggies. Cook until slightly softened.
  4. Combine and simmer: Return the beef to the pot, add broth or wine, herbs, and seasoning. Stir well.
  5. Cook: Cover and simmer for an hour or until everything is tender.
