A comforting dish of tender orzo pasta in a rich, creamy sauce with chicken sausages and broccoli.

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 chicken sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Add the orzo, chicken broth, salt, and pepper, and bring to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer, cover the skillet, and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the orzo is tender.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve warm, and enjoy!
