Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they become translucent.
  3. Introduce the chicken pieces to the skillet, cooking until they are browned on all sides.
  4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are soft and fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  6. Lower the heat and carefully stir in the heavy cream, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Allow the dish to simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and the sauce thickens.
