Enjoy a homemade version of your favorite fast-food fried chicken that’s crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in a mixture of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and seasoned bread crumbs in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each marinated chicken breast in flour, dip it into beaten eggs, and coat it with seasoned bread crumbs.
  4. Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the chicken and let it rest for a minute before serving hot. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding cayenne or chili powder to the spice mix. Pair with sides like coleslaw or fries for a classic meal.
