A comforting dish featuring tender chicken cubes, earthy mushrooms, and creamy Parmesan sauce over pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (any type)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (cremini or button)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken, cooking until it’s browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are soft, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, coating it well with the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For lighter variations, substitute chicken with a plant-based option or use non-dairy cream.
