Description

A comforting Chicken and Stuffing Casserole that’s perfect for chilly evenings or family gatherings, combining tender chicken with savory stuffing in a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup stuffing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Fold in the stuffing mix until it’s evenly coated with the sauce.
  4. Pour this mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. If you’re feeling cheesy, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole stores well in the refrigerator for 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to 2-3 months. For optimal flavor, use freshly cooked chicken and season well.
