Ingredients
- 2 cups pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reduce the heat and mix in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until creamy and well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For an added flavor boost, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the cream or some red pepper flakes while sautéing garlic.
