Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: BBQ sauce for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts inside the Instant Pot.
- Add the chicken broth along with the seasonings—garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Secure the lid of the Instant Pot and set it to ‘Manual’ on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, followed by a quick release to release any remaining pressure.
- Carefully remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
- Serve your shredded chicken on salads, in sandwiches, or with BBQ sauce, if you desire!

Store leftover shredded chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
