Description

A quick and flavorful shredded chicken recipe, perfect for meal prep and versatile for various dishes.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: BBQ sauce for serving


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts inside the Instant Pot.
  2. Add the chicken broth along with the seasonings—garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Secure the lid of the Instant Pot and set it to ‘Manual’ on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 5 minutes, followed by a quick release to release any remaining pressure.
  5. Carefully remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
  6. Serve your shredded chicken on salads, in sandwiches, or with BBQ sauce, if you desire!

Notes

Store leftover shredded chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
