Tender and juicy BBQ chicken legs cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for a busy day.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken legs (drumsticks)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the barbecue sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to mix.
- Add the chicken legs to the slow cooker, making sure they are well coated with the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Serve the chicken legs with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken legs in the sauce for a few hours before cooking. Broil for a few minutes after slow cooking for crispy skin.
