Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 chicken legs (drumsticks)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the barbecue sauce, water, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to mix.
  2. Add the chicken legs to the slow cooker, making sure they are well coated with the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  4. Serve the chicken legs with additional barbecue sauce if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken legs in the sauce for a few hours before cooking. Broil for a few minutes after slow cooking for crispy skin.
