A healthier twist on traditional buffalo chicken wings, prepared quickly in an air fryer for a crispy and flavorful meal.

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine hot sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt, stirring until well blended.
  3. Toss the boneless chicken breasts in the buffalo sauce, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd it.
  5. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove the chicken from the air fryer, allow it to rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Serve over lettuce or in a wrap, and pair with celery sticks and blue cheese for an authentic experience. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
