Description
A delightful twist on classic Caesar salad, these tacos combine savory ground chicken, tangy dressing, and crispy bacon bits for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 500g ground chicken
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1/2 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp crispy bacon bits
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken mixture: In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until it’s evenly combined.
- Form the tacos: Press a thin, even layer of the chicken mixture onto the back of each tortilla, ensuring that the chicken is spread to the edges for an even cook.
- Heat the skillet: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little avocado oil to prevent sticking.
- Cook the tacos: Carefully place the tortillas chicken-side down in the skillet. Press gently with a spatula and cook for 2–3 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Flip and finish cooking: Flip the tortillas and cook the other side for an additional 1–2 minutes until lightly crisp.
- Assemble the tacos: Remove the tacos from the skillet and top each with chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, grated parmesan cheese, and crispy bacon bits.
- Serve immediately: Fold the tacos in half and enjoy while hot for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
For a beautiful presentation, serve with lime wedges on the side. Adjust seasoning based on personal preference.
