Ingredients
- 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, cooked pasta, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Spread the chicken and pasta mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a minute, and garnish with fresh basil.
Notes
Use good quality marinara for the best flavor. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes after baking to help everything set up nicely.
