Description

A comforting and hearty dish combining tender chicken, creamy sauce, and al dente spaghetti for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Sauté until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet and add chopped onion. Cook until softened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer. Let thicken for about 5 minutes.
  6. Return cooked spaghetti and chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese on top, cover with a lid, and let melt for about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in spices longer before cooking.
