A comforting baked dish featuring chicken breasts topped with a creamy sauce made from Greek yogurt and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare a lightly greased baking dish.
- Mix together the Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and spread the yogurt mixture over each one.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parsley or chives before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, use low-fat Greek yogurt and adjust cheese amounts. Ensure chicken is fresh for best results.
