Description

A comforting baked dish featuring chicken breasts topped with a creamy sauce made from Greek yogurt and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives (chopped, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a lightly greased baking dish.
  3. Mix together the Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until smooth.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and spread the yogurt mixture over each one.
  5. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parsley or chives before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, use low-fat Greek yogurt and adjust cheese amounts. Ensure chicken is fresh for best results.
