Description

A delightful twist on a classic favorite, this ground chicken pizza crust is a healthier alternative packed with protein and perfect for weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 large Egg
  • Your favorite pizza sauce (classic marinara or creative pesto)
  • Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or feta)
  • Favorite vegetables (bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
  • Protein options (cooked chicken, pepperoni, or bacon bits)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the ground chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and egg in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, forming it into a circular shape, about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the crust from the oven. Spread your preferred pizza sauce evenly over the crust, and add cheese, vegetables, and any additional protein.
  6. Return the topped pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Allow the pizza to cool slightly, then slice and serve it warm.

Notes

You can prepare the crust in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking. It also freezes well before baking.
