Description

A healthier pizza alternative made with a crust of ground chicken, packed with protein and gluten-free.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pizza sauce
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., bell peppers, onions, pepperoni, olives)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the ground chicken, mozzarella cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet into a circular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is thoroughly cooked and golden brown.
  5. Add a layer of pizza sauce and your choice of toppings.
  6. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For a crispier crust, place the chicken mixture on a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
