Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring golden, tender chicken thighs in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Carefully flip the chicken thighs and continue cooking for an additional 6-7 minutes until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and allow the sauce to cook until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet and coat them well with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a beautiful presentation, consider serving in a cast iron skillet. A drizzle of lemon juice can enhance the flavor just before serving.
