A simple and flavorful crockpot chicken recipe perfect for busy weeknights and family meals.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breasts or Thighs (Boneless)
  • Seasoning Mix (Paprika, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder)
  • Sauce (Cream of Chicken Soup or Barbecue Sauce)
  • Vegetables (Onions, Bell Peppers)
  • Broth or Water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Trim any excess fat and season the chicken heavily with the seasoning mix.
  2. Layer in the Crockpot: Begin with the chicken at the bottom. Add the vegetables and then pour the sauce over the top.
  3. Add Liquid: Pour in enough broth or water to cover the bottom of the crockpot, ensuring moisture.
  4. Set the Temperature: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds.
  5. Shred and Serve: Once done, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce for delicious flavor.

Notes

Choose chicken thighs for a moister dish and feel free to experiment with different sauces.
