Description

A perfect fusion of crunchy chicken and a velvety garlic sauce, this dish is comforting yet elegant, making it ideal for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken to the heated skillet, cooking for 5-6 minutes on each side until the chicken is golden and crispy. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the cream, stirring continuously to combine with the garlic. Add in the Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce is smooth and well blended.
  5. Stir in chopped spinach and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until spinach is wilted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the crispy chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over the top. Allow to simmer for 1 minute before removing from heat.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry for optimal crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the skillet and adjust heat to prevent burning garlic. Allow chicken to rest for juiciness.
