Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and diced
- 1 package (9-12 oz) cheese tortellini
- 1 cup basil pesto
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Combine the diced chicken and basil pesto in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir until heated through.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until the sauce is well mixed and creamy.
- Add the cooked tortellini, gently folding to coat them in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper as desired. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream. Adjust salt according to your pesto’s flavor.
