Ingredients
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Once it’s al dente, drain and set aside.
- Prepare the chicken sauce by combining the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, chicken broth, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large pot over medium heat. Stir until melted and well combined.
- Add the drained penne pasta and shredded cheddar cheese to the chicken mixture. Gently mix until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
- Taste the dish and season with salt and pepper to your preference.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a lighter version, replace half of the cream cheese with Greek yogurt. It can be frozen for up to 2 months.
