Description

A timeless dish that perfectly balances flavors and textures, featuring tender chicken, creamy dressing, fresh celery, and Dijon mustard.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
  • ¾ cup celery, diced (about 2-3 stalks)
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prep your chicken by removing meat from the bones and chopping into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Make the dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
  3. Add the diced celery, red onion, and parsley to the bowl and mix.
  4. Add the chopped chicken to the bowl and gently stir until everything is coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Adjust mayonnaise for preferred creaminess. Leftovers can taste better the next day.
