Description

A creamy, cheesy, and comforting casserole combining tender spaghetti with shredded chicken and a rich sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for sautéing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a pot of boiling water, cook the spaghetti until al dente and drain.
  2. Combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the drained spaghetti to the chicken mixture and fold gently until well coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs if using.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
