Description

A delightful chicken salad featuring crunchy pecans and sweet red grapes, perfect for picnics and quick lunches.


Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • ⅔ cup red grapes, halved
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ medium red onion, diced
  • ⅔ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Stir together the mayonnaise, yogurt (or sour cream), Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add the cooked chicken, chopped celery, halved grapes, chopped pecans, diced red onion, and optional parsley to the bowl. Toss everything gently to combine.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
