A comforting and indulgent dish that combines the classic flavors of chicken parmesan with the heartiness of lasagna, perfect for families and gatherings.

  • 2-3 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Olive oil, garlic, and seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a pan, sauté garlic in olive oil, add the marinara sauce, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes while mixing in herbs and spices for extra flavor.
  3. Boil water in a large pot, add lasagna noodles, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of sauce at the bottom. Layer noodles, then spread a portion of the ricotta mixture, followed by shredded chicken, more sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with noodles and sauce on top.
  6. Top the final layer with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure your noodles are al dente; they will soften more while baking. Don’t skimp on the seasoning for a flavorful dish.
