Ingredients
- 2 cups of your favorite pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 1-2 cups of assorted vegetables (like broccoli or bell peppers)
- 1 cup of cream
- 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar works wonderfully)
- Seasonings: salt, pepper, and garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of butter or oil for sautéing
- Optional: ½ cup of breadcrumbs for extra crunch
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the butter or oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the vegetables until they’re tender and vibrant.
- Combine the cooked pasta, sautéed vegetables, cream, and half of the cheese in a mixing bowl, stirring until well-coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top, if desired.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
