Description

A comforting cheesy casserole filled with pasta, vegetables, and oozing cheese, perfect for family dinners and quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of your favorite pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
  • 1-2 cups of assorted vegetables (like broccoli or bell peppers)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar works wonderfully)
  • Seasonings: salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of butter or oil for sautéing
  • Optional: ½ cup of breadcrumbs for extra crunch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the butter or oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the vegetables until they’re tender and vibrant.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta, sautéed vegetables, cream, and half of the cheese in a mixing bowl, stirring until well-coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top, if desired.
  7. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding mustard powder or experimenting with different cheese blends.
