Description

A delicious one-pan meal combining juicy chicken breasts, tender asparagus, and creamy Caesar dressing, topped with savory Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • to taste salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound asparagus spears (trimmed)
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken breasts in a large oven-proof skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  3. Pour Caesar dressing over each piece of chicken, making sure each piece is well-coated. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  4. Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the chicken in the skillet and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), and the asparagus should be tender-crisp.
  6. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest briefly. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken and asparagus before serving hot.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan cheese. Ensure to select a gluten-free Caesar dressing if necessary.
