Description

A delightful twist on traditional chili, this creamy Best White Chili combines ground turkey or chicken with white beans and green chiles for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can green chiles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Chopped cilantro (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in a large pot over medium heat until browned.
  2. Cook the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened.
  3. Incorporate the white beans, green chiles, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
