This oven-baked Chicken Parmesan features tender chicken thighs slathered in rich marinara and gooey mozzarella cheese, delivering comfort food perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well-coated. Dredge them in the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each thigh. Don’t be shy with the sauce!
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously, then return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
