Description

A comforting casserole combining smoky BBQ sauce with creamy ranch dressing, shredded chicken, and melted cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the shredded cooked chicken, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Add cooked rice or pasta if desired and fold into the mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Add shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be frozen before baking for up to 2 months. Reheat after thawing overnight in the fridge.
